Richard Cecil (1748–1810) English clergyman, born in London, on the 8th of November 1748; died at Tunbridge Wells, on the 15th of August 1810. He was ordained a minister of the Church of England in 1776; minister at St. John’s, London, and Risley in Surrey. He wrote a series of biographies, which include some of Rev.
